Wine, oil, cheese and Apulia!
A TASTE OF APULIA IN VILLA AGRIMARE...
We met Gino this year and we immediately got along, not only for his wonderful 'ricotta' and braids Gargano, but mainly because he is a real person, like everyone here at Villa Agrimare.
During the afternoons we organized together he explained to us how to make the cheese he produces, in summary, from milking to our tables.
Many of our guests have created their own cheeses with the most creative shapes, strictly in accordance with Gino's instructions, interweaving the cheese in the most ancient manner...
His small herd of cattle is just 2 km from us, he owns only six cows, two small bulls and some calves. Anyone who wants to make the experience of milking (by hand!) Will be invited by Gino himself to his farm. His cows graze freely in 30 hectares with Mediterranean vegetation within the Gargano National Park. Away from sources of pollution and from any interference that might disturb.
Needless to say, their milk is absolutely superb...

The goal of these meetings with Gino is not selling cheeses, which however we taste always very willingly ;-) but exchange a little bit of Apulian culture, flavors and stories with guests...
Thanks to Gino and to all those who participated laughing and joking with us, ending the evening with 'taralucci' and wine, and of course, cheese ... !!!
